INVESTMENT • Tax haven • Capital growth 15% - 20% • If you buy a property you will receive a residency card renewable yearly – which will include spouses and children (500k min) • Building guarantees for 10 years, bank guarantees are in place • Very strict building regulations – max 3 stories high (Some exceptions can be made) • Construction period will be 12-16 months • Utility bills approx. $100 - 150 per month • Community charges approx. $100 – 300 per month TAX • No Income tax – no corporate tax – no capital gains tax – no inheritance tax. However, as a company, we would suggest that the clients do their due diligence and check their tax liabilities in their country of origin. (We are not tax specialists) RENTALS • We have an after-sales division • Mainly all year round rentals • Average annual rental yield 10% - 14% MORTGAGES • Mortgages are in place you can expect rates at around 8.5% (Oct 06) • Borrow up to 70% of the value of the property – up to 20 years – no limit on the age non status (30% down on resales or 50% down on new builds)
